Friend Makin' Monday

This is my attempt at Friend Makin' Mondays.... I hope you like me, won't you be my friend?

Ten Things I Love About This Summer
  1. No shoveling out parking spots or cleaning off my car.... well, there was that one hail storm in July where they had to drag out the snow plows for a couple of parking lots in my area, but all I had to do was pull some tree branches off my car.
  2. Barbeque Food--hot dogs, hamburgers, sauerkraut and corn on the cob all taste better when cooked on an outdoor grill... especially since I don't have a grill or know how to use one, which means I'm not cooking.
  3. The occasional sound of Mr. Softee driving through the streets in the evening, but the real Mr. Softee, not the cheap imitations that sound like their batteries are dying.
  4. The absence of good reality tv, gives me the opportunity to catch up on my regular shows.
  5. Driving with the windows open, and NOT freezing my butt off
  6. Of course the longer days and increased vitamin D.
  7. The small window of time where blueberries where soooo in season that I paid .88 for a pint. I paid 3.99 this week.
  8. FLIP FLOPS
  9. Getting a birds eye view of NYC fireworks on the Hudson River, the view was from a hospital room in Yonkers, NY, but as Mommy pointed out... we got to spend another 4th together, which leads me to what is actually my very best thing about this summer....
  10. Time spent with my wonderful, amazing Mother, no matter where.

Also great list. I am amazed by the storm and shoveling out. I also love BBQ food and the reality tv shows. My favorite shows are Biggest Loser and Dancing with the Stars.
